[letterhead]Salt Lake City Aug 23, 1902My dear Muir,I enclose a New York draft for $25- in liquidation of the amount you so kindly loaned me. Many thanks. I also send, in a separate envelope, the necktie which you insisted that, in decency, I should wear. I assume that the Kern River trip is now a thing of the past. For me it was a trip of a lifetime. In every respect it was 10 delightful!! The country and the company could not be improved, and I shall hold the delightfully memory of that month as long as I live. I am here [illegible]ebling with the sheep03030
