I ordered from a bookshop to day a copy of Markham's latest book of verse, to be sent to you. You will probably receive it Monday or Tuesday. I feel instinctively that you will like "The M[illegible] [Memory?]" and the S[illegible] marches verse. Speaking of marches, while lately in New York I asked Sidney Louie's son, editor of Everybody's Magazine, why he didn't find and print something like his father's "Marches of Gly[illegible]". He said it was hardly possibly to find it, and that if he got it he wouldn't print it, as it was too good for readers of a cheap magazine. I suppose you are acquainted with Louie.
