[9]P.S.After my letter was closed I felt I must tell you about some of the things that are growing in the door yard here. Sarah you are a botanist I wish you could see the English Ivy that grows at the corner of the Piazza, one of the trunks is good nine inches around and another a little less, the vine covers one side of the wide [Porch?] runs over the top, up on the roof of the house and is part way up on the chimney then it runs along the front and over the balcony, passing through the side of the house some way and is running along the wall of the room inside making beauty there as well also stretching out and running up on the house inside of the Porch. Remember this is not in little sprays but in great heavy masses stading about six feet high on
