[marginalia]The Rembrandt152 W. 57th [St?]New York April 5th1900My dear Mr Muir: -Your note with postal order enclosed came two or three days ago. Mr [Dellenbaugh?] sent out the letters to the fellows some time ago, and a great proportion have been heard from. This plan I really did not know much about until a short time ago and was told I was put upon the Committee, after the letters had been sent out. Many of the men felt if this sort of thing could be well done they would be relieved of a feeling of obligation. Those that do not contribute, for any cause, need have no feeling about it. It was thought that [Dellenbaugh?] and I could look after the design. The work02687
