3in a separate article for the Yosemite book at present - though some of it might possibly be useful in extensions of the Kings River Chapter As to the Auto business I haven't written a word of it or suggested the thing to any publishers [How?] so much has come to be said of it is to me a mystery I mean to write the Yosemite book first & the Alaska trip & perhaps a 3d vol on shrubs & trees before touching the me book - Sorry to hear of the brilliant King's illness. I mean to write a short letter to the President on forest matters. No hope in sight for Yosemite recession
