Martinez, Feb 2, 1895My dear Mr Sellers,Im sorry you are not feeling well, but not that the island trip is to be postponed. It seems every way delightful & kind & I would enjoy it gloriously in your company but I am hard beset with literary work & I have no knack of getting it off my hands in haste. I expect to finish the first article tomorrow, then comes three more & a book. Still after I have done enough to honestly earn a rest I shall be only too glad to go there with you to see the palms & ferns & that famous old fire place of natureThe weather here is more delightful sunshine & larksong in abundance. Mrs. Stretzel is too much an invalid to travel & Mrs M cannot leave her but Pasadena trip would
