[2]Little Helen is very well again but we are all needed to keep her interested and active all day so she will be sleepy when night comes, for then she misses you and her little face looks woefully solemn. She is writing you a letter and wanted to send you a whole handful of fragrant flowers for “sweet kisses”! Wanda is very well too, and is getting quieted down to study her lessons again, I was very unwell after you left and am still lame but I try to rest as much as possible through the day.01663[3]Margaret seems to be a little better this week, but we could not coax any of the family to move to move to this house, only Mr. Reid and Johnie offered to stay any night that we felt scared. Lou. Erwin seems homesick, I suppose she wanted to go to Chicago with Lacey, but her father wanted her to stay here. The Erwins started East Tuesday morning. Grandma enjoyed their visit very much, but is tired since coming home. She was greatly disappointed at not seeing you to say good-bye.
