Department of the Interior Washington August 14, 1891. Mr. R. U. Johnson, 33 E. 17th Street, New York City, N. Y. Sir:- Referring to your letter of May 25, 1891, enclosing rough sketch map of a portion of the Sierra region in California, covering a proposed reservation of the two King's River Canons, I enclose a copy of a letter from the Commissioner of the General Land Office, with map of California requesting that you have the proposed Reservation traced out thereon, since the sketch map (herewith returned as requested) is not sufficiently definite to enable him to define the proposed limits on the map. Very respectfully, Geo. Chandler, Acting Secretary.
