[2] 01487for some years it would seem that we have worse then failed, but we are hoping & trusting that, as you say (by God’s help) “better times will come” & won’t it be a happy day when we again are square with the world? but God only knows when, but we do know that “all things work together for good to them that love Him”, in some way Perhaps you will be surprised when you read the letter John has been writing this morning since loosing the sheep job he has become restless & is beating about like a bird in a cage & wondering how he can get away from the “Land tangle” to earn something[3]he agreed to take care of the sheep for a year & the owner was honorable but under the circumstances it was best for him to give them up. The Boys are breaking some horses Harry will be twenty one next August but as he is not the [illegible]iest of boys I should hate to leave him alone on the Ranch though he likes it pretty well (I mean living her but we have no [matured?] plans, & just think of it my baby boy is sixteen & John & I look quite old I hope this will find all well Love to you all, yourself
