Raymond, Fresno Co., Cal.Jan. 27, 1893Dear Mr. Johnson: I enclose two extracts from newspapers. I think that they make a nice pair. I expect that you will not approve some of the matter introduced by me in my letter, (not to speak of its Arizona Kicker style in parts,) but I know the audience and what kind of stuff is most effective. Whether Irish really wrote the article in the Expositor I don’t know, It reads, however, much like him, and I have no doubt that it was suggested by him. The present editor of that paper is a man named Baker, a personal friend (I am told) of Irish. He hopes, I judge, to get some office through Irishis influence.Yours trulyGeo. G. Mackenzie06427
