Helen is very well and she is getting heavy she weighs 48 pounds now. I hope that Mr John Burrows will go with you to Scotland as I think it would be much pleasanter than for you to go alone. How is Mr. and Mrs Keith and where does she expect to stop while you and Mr Keith are climbing mountains? You must have had a fine time on the Hudson river I wish I had been along We have taken Elfie in to our room at night and she approves greatly and so do I she sleeps in a box in the fire placeThe cherries are very nearly gone we have had some nice ones. have you had any good ones where you have been? The boat and tuskes and things were sent Mr. Coleman took them down on the boat and saw that they got there all right. We had three very warm days where the thomnometer went up to 98 but since then it has been very cool but the mosketos have been very bad sometimes.
