[in margin: 693][letterhead]April 30, 1893.My dear Helen & WandaI received your nice letters & I was very glad to hear you were all well & to get the little cedar sprays. You must not be too lonesome. I’ll some be home & I’m not far away anyhow. I suppose I could hear your sweet voices in the telephone, but not very well I fear. I couldnt hear mamma the other day, nor Mr Borland either very well, so I got only part of the message. Tell mama next time to telegraph or write.
