[Undated] [Sep. 30,1893]Holland House New YorkI suppose you are all hard at work on the grapes. I ought to be back to help. But I thought it would be a cause of regret should I leave out Washington. All other invitations of which I have received many, I have declined. Don’t worry about the grapes. Let Coleman and Davy and Tim do their best. I'll still be in time to help with the later shipments.[Enclosed in this sheet of folded paper is a flower specimen marked "Gorner Grat, Switzerland," enclosed in an enveloped addressed to Mrs. John Muir, Martinez, Cal. Envelope is dated New York Sep. 20, Received at Martinez Oct. 4,1893
