We arrived here Robinson & I last evening after a delightful trip & this morning start for the Valley with no trouble of any sort in sight. A bridge is being built in the Valley nearly finished Tell Charly to sulphur the vines. I saw the S.F. batcher & told him to make the check payable to me. Tell Bennett to deliver the calves. Had a pleasant visit with Mr Moores Wish you could all be here. the air is delightful & my appetite is already wonderful. Be doubly careful of your health & lie down much as possible watch the eating business of the two babies & tell them Ill bring them something Love to all Tell grandma I can eat Goodbye The glorious mountains are calling Come up higher Every Yours John Muir01505
