I take it for granted that these are not on Government property. If they are, by all meanslet me know at once.As to the King's River article, we shall have to give ten pages to the illustrations, and therefore are obliged to keep you to the 8000 word limit; or shall we say 10,000? I hope you will be able to get it all in. If not, keep to the most wonderful scenery and to the pictures, a list of which I now send to you, with proofs of the six now finished and of one of the maps.Oh, how we need the (illegible)!Yours faithfully,R.K.
