[2]he has so far recovered from treatment that he has been working with his brother in law on the farm and hopes that by a change of climate to get the better of the disease. Will is a steady and competent young man. He worked in David's store for a while years ago about the time he left school. When I received the letter I felt very doubtful about your being able to accomodate him but still felt that the least I could do would be to let you know. I will write to Will and send your address and then he can speak for himself. It is a long time since I have heard from you John but know by mothers letter that you are exceedingly busy. I hope[3]that you are all well. I was very sorry to hear by Grandma Strentzel's letter to Annie that you had such an anxious time over Wanda. I hope the dear little girl is quite strong again. We are all pretty well here. Joanna and the children are visiting with us just now. Walter came with them but is now in Philadelphia they will be with us for some time. the children have grown quite a little within the year and seem very happy among us. What fine big girls Wanda and Helen will be now and how happily they will play together, and what a comfort and blessing they will be to you all.
