01439776Victoria B.C. June 17th 90Dear WandaI told you I would be on the bounding billows when I went to Alaska & so I was. The sea was all rumpled up with big waves & the tops of them came on to the deck of the steamer & made everybody go inside of their rooms, & many men sick on account of the pitching & heaving & rocking of the ship. But I was used to it & enjoyed it. The waves were very blue at the bottom & green in the middle & white at the top. At one place off Crescent City there are
