San FrancescoJuly 9th 1889Dear Louie & babes - Its 12 oclock but I have just finished writing some good beautiful pages about Puget Sound & dont much mind what time it is. No [news?] from any of you yet I wonder if you ever go to town for the mail. Hope you are having a good time with Fannie. Do write or make Wanda do it. I sit here forever but seem to stand it pretty well. Sometimes cant sleep for wagons. Very noisy Dont let the children get too familiar with that Chinaman & keep them in sight. Better look & see if the apricots are ripe Good night & love to all01357
