Have been over to Alameda & have inspected the tank cell _ the Dr. kindly offers either the tank or a room in his house_ Have been to 760 14th St. to inquire about Youngs little girl fearing more & more as I approached the house that the little thing was dead. & so it proved. Mrs. Selfrige came to the door & told me that the poor little baby woman died last Saturday. They are trying to take the poor wasted body back to Alaska Young has not yet heard the sad sad news_I'm very sorry for him..I make slow progress with my scheme.Cherries are quite low_better send in the white cherries in large boxes. the smallest ought to be culled out, & sold to the pedlars at any price, as the canners dont want them. Sell all you can at home. Send a box to Mr Baker
