[4]out yet. The Catalpa and Russian Mulberry trees look very bad. The potatoes have sprouted up again and the other vegetables are all right. We are so sheltered here things are not so much hurt as in the country. We had a visit a short time since from Anna with her two children, she is pretty well. Kenneth is growing quite a boy, fond of investigating as he has opportunity. Little Marjorie is a dear wee girlie just eight weeks old. She has blue eyes, quite a contrast to Kenneth. Grace has been staying with Anna for some time. Hiram has been traveling for a Publishing house, and so is not at home very much[5]3if he likes the business, and can do better than farming in that way, he may continue. if not, he can go back to the old work. He has not sold his stock. Celia is attending the Commercial College here, is taking a business course and enjoys it very much she works hard as she helps me about the house work as well. Mr. & Mrs. Foster also Jeanie think of going to California in the fall. I do not know whether they intend to make there home there or only visit for a time. I have not seen Maggie since hearing of it. Jamie has had a good position there for some years, not very far from01986
