[3]Mary and her children has been traveling and visiting nearly all summer and as she is now in "Neb" she intends to accompany "David" and "John [Muir?]" to Portage in a week or soI do hope John has injoyed his visit home as much as we have all done he seemed to enjoy his visit to the Yellowstone Park very much indeed he spoke of it as being a very wonderful placeI am sorry to think that both Willis and Mary were away from home [stricken word] while John were here so that he has not made a visit to the Great Lakes as he intended.
