[letterhead]30th May 1895Dear Mr Muir:Flugel [diacritic], Green, and I are starting off tomorrow (Friday) morning upon a little run on our bicycles via Walnut Creek to (or toward) Martinez. We should like to make you our objective point, but there is no time to hear from you now unless I telegraph which I shall do if we decide to call upon you. I want you and Flugel [diacritic] to meet. Green is also a good man.If (or when) we arrive, should it not be perfectly convenient for you to entertain us overnight, you will kindly tell me so frankly, will you not? At least we shall hope to see and talk with you; that's the main thing; where and how we sleep and eat is unimportant--I have your book01988
