[Daniel Muir, Jr]
Yosem' Vall' March 5thDear Doctor Yours of Jan 14th reached me this evening Alas I have tidings that my trunk has arrived at Coulterville, & will be forward ed after the melting of the mtn snow. Many thanks for your prompt action I think that other letters of mine to you have been detained by the snow blockade on the railroad. I am glad to hear of your marriage. May God be good to you. I shall always re- juice in your happiness For a long time I shall wander in these remote mountains but my heart shall always contain living love for you.
