May God bless youlovingly Maggie[1]Crete, Neb Mar 28, 1883My Dear Brother John & Sister LouieWe arrived safe & sound, at Lincoln on Saturday & found Bro Dan at the depot waiting for us, but feeling very uncertain about us comming by Lincoln as David & John had written to him that they did not know which way we would come, and thinking we might perhaps come by Rearney junction, they decided to watch for us at the Crete depot & wrote to Dan asking him to go to the other & if we came that way to send a dispatch direct, so that they could come down on the evening freight. but with all their watching & [warning?] [deleted: of] the telegraph operator
