00679 [Letterhead: ROOMS OF THE OVERLAND MONTHLY, San Francisco, March 4th 1874.]Dear Mr. Muir: I am delighted with your very original and clearly written paper on “Mountain Sculpture”, which reveals the land beneath the beauty of mountain and rock forms. It is sure to attract wide attention. On [consultation?] with Mr. [Callaway?] and the Engravers I f[illegible] that it will be physically impossible to have the fourteen illustrations done in time for the April [number?], which must be [illegible] the last f[illegible] of contributions on the 10th.
