Soledad July 8 / 80Mr John Muir, Dear Sir; I have exchanged two or three letters with Miss M E B Norton and from them infer that you may spend a few weeks in the Santa [Lucias?] this Summer. I am now bound thither after Botanical collections &c and would like to hear further from you to ascertain if we might not arrange to travel together with advantage to both. I shall be at San Antonio for some time [(In haste?)] Very Truly Yours G. R. Vasey
