R R direct for Los Angeles &c. Hope you can arrange to go with us Being disapointed in the [outfit?] we expected at San Bernardino we will probably take the stage [route?] down the coast from Santa Anna to San Diego stopping at any desirable points on the route Probably return via San Bernardino & make one or more desert trips into the Colorado basin In applying for RR passes better cover as much ground as desirable on the S P R R routes as far East as [Yuma?] & South to Santa Anna [illegible]
