to San Francisco, Martinez is only an hour & a half from there.Mrs. Sellers has been very sick, in bed a month as I learned by a letter received a day or two ago, but is now well & goes to the Wis Clubhouse.I do not remember noticing any superficial traces of ice-action on the San Gabriel rocks, such as polished or scratched surfaces; but of the more enduring traces--drift, glacial forms of the rocks, & general glacial sculpture. those I saw everywhere.As to that lily I think it was the Humboldt, but it is so long since I saw it
