Love to the dear little one may she be spared to be a comfort and blessing to her parents — [1] 1876 Portage Sept. 10thDear Daniel & Emma I sincerely sympathize with you both at this time of sore trial and bereavement, how sad to lose the little one, around whom our affections so readily and firmly [ sing?], but in our distress, let us ever remember that the dear one is not lost but only gone before — and we will look forward to a happy reunion in a happier time where there is no more death —
