Wis.Decr 17th /88Dear Brother and SisterI wish you and the dear little girls a happy Christmas and joyful New Year. on looking back the year seems to have passed quickly away, and we are still spured to reach out to each other with kindly thoughts and heartfelt greet- -ings. May the New year bring to you God's best blessings with health and happiness and the power to enjoy them well.We are all pretty well here[2]here, Mother is in her usual health, she enjoys a walk as much as ever, but seems to get more easily tired than when you were here I think. Sister Annie still keeps improving and my own health is much better, I can do a good deal of work, and walk quite a little distance without getting too tired. We have much to be thankful for, more than we at all times realize, for I think one too often forgets how much there is that we may enjoy in reaching out often things that [we?] just
