[in margin: 165]Sitka Alaska Sept 11th. 1881Dear Mrs Muir,We received your letter of July 14th by last steamer, I should have answered by the return steamer but had so much to attend to I did not find the time I wished. We were so glad to learn that you had heard from Mr Muir and that he was well. I presume you have heard again from him by this time. Mr Vanderbilt has written Mr Muir. You must indeed be very lonely in your separation I hope it will not be for long. Annie is very well – growing almost too fast She is so sweet and nice I do not like to have her change too06098
