William and Maymie Kimes Annotation
The booklet is dedicated ""to the memory of America's great naturalist and writer, John Muir."" The Muir quotations are unidentified, with the exception of those on page [2] from ""The Treasures of Yosemite,"" excerpted from no. 181; however, the identification is incorrect. It should be August (rather than September), 1890, The Century Magazine.
