William and Maymie Kimes Annotation
This pamphlet was issued in a campaign to save Redwood Mountain, a large sequoia grove south of Grant Grove and the General's Highway. On p. 4 is a description of the "Kings River Sequoia Belt" from John of the Mountains, no. 379, pp. 228-229. On pp. 8 and 9 are two excerpts from no. 379, pp. 228-229; the next quotation is from The Yosemite, no. 308, p. 256 (reference given is in error); and the last quotation is from Our National Parks, no. 237, p. 1. Four drawings are of trees and one is of a squirrel.
