William and Maymie Kimes Annotation
Printed on one side only. This publication commends the action of Richard A. Ballinger, Secretary of the Interior, who has requested San Francisco to "show cause why the portion of the Garfield permit giving the city a conditional right to flood the famous Hetch-Hetchy Valley should not be revoked." Friends are asked to send a representative to present the case at hearings on May 18th in Washington. It is signed, "John Muir, May, 1910."
