In this greeting to the Mountaineers, Muir writes: "I am with heart and soul in your work of white icy 81 mountain climbing and all that goes with it. In particular I warmly congratulate you on your fine triumphant success in all three of your outings. I regard Mt. Rainier as second to none of all the icy mountains of the coast."
