Dr. Mary J. Lomax-Ghirarduzzi is the university’s inaugural vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and chief diversity officer.
A leader on race, leadership and faith-informed social justice, she is guiding the university through a transformative framework designed to integrate DEI into all aspects of campus life and operations.
Humanizing Us aims to educate and promote DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) among workplaces, schools, communities, and ourselves. We will welcome guests that are from our Pacific community as well as those who are not. It is important to note that the content discussed here does not necessarily reflect the University of the Pacific or the company of our guests. At the essence of this humanizing work is dealing with unreconciled relationships at work and beyond. To do this, we ask ourselves questions about identity, belonging, and love.
