Digital reconstructions of historical spaces and environments using virtual reality can be used to create an empathetic connection to places that no longer exist and provide exciting environments to showcase work by embedding traditional student research in virtual environments. This presentation explains how Dr. Salyers made this experience and how he intends to use it as part of his template-based digital humanities pedagogy.
