Introduction/Context/Diagnosis

This is a clinical case demonstrating orthodontic and restorative treatment to improve various aesthetic aspects of a patient's smile including dark buccal corridors, visible metal from PFM margins, uneven incisal edges, non-uniform color, and asymmetric dental anatomy as well as improve caries risk due to crowding.

Methods/Treatment Plan

This case involved adult Invisalign treatment of both mandibular and maxillary arches, multiple fillings, multiple crowns, enameloplasty, and freehand composite veneers to improve aesthetics.

Results/Outcome

The patient is currently very happy with the results of the treatment and their improved aesthetics and cleansibility.

Significance/Conclusions

Oftentimes orthodontics in combination with restorative work has a better ability to yield an ideal aesthetic results.
