Program sponsored by local steamfitter's union for the purpose of providing Christmas packages for the armed forces overseas and to spur the Third War Loan campaign. Coast Guard band from San Francisco. Ceasar Romero, Master of Ceremonies (motion picture star). Navy nurses, Ensigns Loraine Christensen and Doris Yetter, captured and held prisoners by Japanese on Guam. Leonard Stafford, Marine, who suffered a leg injury. Tommie Thompson, Sailor, who suffered the loss of an eye and leg in battle.
