The book will soon be through the press, I have corrected & returned proof of all except the last Chapter. I have enjoyed writing & it is an act of love. Nevertheless I find writing very laborious & making a book half kills me. The Sep number of the [Atlantic?] will have an article of mine on the Sequoia Here is a clipping which may amuse you as it refers to Keith's unreasonable whines & behavior, mine of course are always otherwise. Keith has been suffering from sever colds but is better We are all about as usual. Let us hear from you very soon as to Mrs Sellers. [in margin: Return the clipping when you write.] I'll buy a typewriter as you advise. Which kind is best? Regards to Frank.Ever [Yours?]John Muir
