Abstract/Artist Statement

In a world full of wizards, most people only dream of getting the opportunity to train under Merlin. Max, a young wizard in training, has the opportunity to make this dream a reality. He has been selected alongside his rival, Alexander, to compete for a scholarship to train under the great Merlin. To win, he must out score Alexander on their final exam. However things take a turn for the worst when Max suddenly can't seem to perform any spells right and his inability to properly conduct spells winds up negatively impacting the people he cares about. As he struggles to fix the mess he has made, Max begins to realize that the people he cares about are more important than any scholarship or exam.
