Description

Scholarly Commons is a relatively new service of University of the Pacific Libraries to create a centralized digital repository of research, scholarship, and creative works by faculty, students and staff. Online access will be provided to both published and unpublished works by University of the Pacific community including journal articles, books, book chapters, theses, dissertations, reports, conference proceedings, teaching materials, data sets, university publications, and archival/special collections. Contributions to this repository showcase the intellectual and creative output of University of the Pacific faculty, students, and staff, ensuring long-term preservation and worldwide electronic accessibility. The Digital Repository Coordinator will demonstrate the repository and associated individual scholar profile pages. She will discuss benefits, participation across the university, and answer questions.
