August 1 1893
My dear Helen-
Norway is out of sight & we are near Bonnie Scotland again I see the green hills & the high rocks along the shore & the white waves fringing them like pretty lace. We are near a queer old Scotch town called Aberdeen & soon we will land there, & then we will go to Leith near Edinburgh. We will get to Leith tonight & the long sail over the beautiful water will be done Everybody says we have had a lovely time in Norway
Good morning Midge, I'm in Edinburgh now & in a few minutes I will be going on the cars to Woodsworth country in England. Then to London & Bash Switzerland & fondly hope you & Wanda & mama & grandma are well. I have not heard from you since leaving New York, & it seems a long time I suppose your letters are all in London at the
London Paris & American Bank limited, which is the best address Tell Mama to address letters there & I will have them forwarded wherever I may be It is raining today but I have a good waterproof Here are a few more Naradale & Romsdale flower & love to all Ill soon be home my darlings Heaven bless you good bye J.M.
