Dear Louie,
Im coming home on the Queen Will arrive in S F about the 20th or 21st We go first to N[illegible] for coal & that will be a fine trip missed on the way up. I have a lot of cones young trees, etc. which would be spoiled in hunting Sargent. He is in the Olympia forests & I have not been able to discover his plans after returning here so Ill meet him in Cal. or southern Oregon later.
The Alaska trip was a fine one every way through I failed to get to Yakutat,

The Osborns are going thome by the Canadian Pacific.
Im too late for the Crater Lake trip but can make it any time. I got Helens & Wandas letter yesterday & was glad also to get your telegram last night.
Goodbye for a day or two Love to all. Darling Helen & Wanda Ill soon see you & bring lovely cones & flowers
