My dear Mr Johnson.
I think that the Sequoia & Yosemite Reservations of the [Kalmeah?], Tule, & Kings Rivers should be one; as I have indicated on the map with this There is a Yosemite on the North-Fork of Kings R. but it is small & much less interesting than those of the M & S forks. I saw Mr Moore of Moore & Smi[illegible] owners of 10,000 acres of Sequoia forest in the basin of the Tule R. He says that they would would willingly give up this forest to the government for what it cost them. Wish I could see you & the C Pa[illegible]. Every Cordially yrs John Muir
