[OCT 20, 1908?]Darling Helen,In the hurred note I wrote you yesterday I forgot to thank you for the nice hairbrush & for getting your mother's picture so beautifully & safely framed please send me the jeweler's bill for the fine frame.Mr Arnold Elsie Upham's husband was instantly killed in an automobile accident near Stege. He was buried yesterday. He left three little girls. A very sad affair.I haven't yet been able to get a stock of my Boy books else you would have had a copy ere thisEver devotedly you father
