Dear Papa Oct 29 1908
I received your letter of the 27th yesterday but what has happened to the one you said you had written several days before in which you spoke of all the property? I havent had a letter from you since the short note inclosing two letters telling the sad news, until yesterday.
Im glad you have the article for the Century off your mind, but it must have been a tough job. Dont shut yourself up there in that lonely house and write yourself sick. When are you coming down? The weather is beautiful. Im glad to hear we are to have more of those fine grapes. Could you send the Judge some too?
I must go and mail this now, so goodbye
