Darling Helen;
I hope you are enjoying Sweet Briar fragrance in your caban these cool nights & breezy days, the bushes are flourishing as never before & form rich fountains of sweetnes[s?] for all the garden. Fong has finished thinning peaches & is now mowing the fine crop of oats around the stable, The young rose bushes at the bend of the road are making a big growth & are covered with roses most of them rare varieties The Fleet show seemed to set all the country wild. I suppose you get particulars in the papers
I'm glad you are careful to watch weather changes & guard promptly against sudden chills. Wanda expects to sign papers today & start for Daggett Saturday next. My kindest regards to the two friend families & all love to you
