Helen [Muir]

Martinez, Jan 15, 1908

Darling Helen,

I'll probably not get off for Daggett before the 20th hoping to get the ranch business settled.
Your horse was clipped the other day & the ticks pretty much cleared off He will probably be shipped in a few days, & I hope will reach you on time, by escaping quarantine.
Not raining today but everything sloppy.
my cold better
Be eternally careful not to overdo in exercise or take cold.

Your lover John Muir
