[letterhead]EL PASO, TEXAS, Mar. 3rd 1910My dear Mr Muir:Mrs Osborn and I were delighted to receive your letter. We surely hope to go north to San Francisco and see you. If our time permits we want to take a brief [illegible] [into?] the Yosemite, and you must go with us. Mrs Osborn says 'I will not go with [out?] Muir!I shall probably reach the Ray[mond?] Hotel04719

Passadena on Monday, or Tuesday Mar. 8th. We leave California for the Grand Canon [diacritic] on Monday, Mar. 28th. So you see we have very little time in which to see a very big state. However, we are full of energy - and good travellers. And very keen to see you again -AlwaysFaithfully your friend,Henry Fairfield Osborn
